March 14, Los Angeles--The Games Women Play: A Tribute to Women at the Top of the
Game salutes the gains scored specifically by women of color who are making a
differences as demonstrated by their contributions to society, and the positive
reflections of their personal and professional lives. The event, established in 1993
by Gloria Daniels, CEO of Diamond Deane & Daniels Communications Group, Inc. is
produced under the corporation\'s special events division, Grand Affairs Productions.
More than 100 women across the nation has received this prestigious honor including
Patti LaBelle, Wilma Rudolph, and countless, university presidents, Fortune 500
executives, best selling authors, attorneys, doctors and airline pilots, naming a
few in this far ranging endeavor. In past years, the Tribute has also included a
host of educational seminars, and a celebrity golf tournament giving women
executives an opportunity to network on the nation\'s most covet business turf.
Guided by a national advisory board, honorees are selected through a nomination
process. The 2007 event, for the first time since its inception, will be produced
in Los Angeles. While the exact date is to be set, the event will take place in
October to benefit programs supporting domestic violence awareness and education.

about the cause -- domestic violence. More than 4 million women are victimized every
year; through this event . . . we can help.\"
